YMCA Louisiana Model United Nations Conference

Model United Nations provides participants with an opportunity to gain insight into global relations through a challenging and constructive three-day program. The focus of this conference is to provide student participants with the experience of representing a country’s viewpoint on global issues and engaging in resolutions through compromise and cooperation.

MUN Conference Information

YMCA Model UN will host 4 Committees in 2017, from large General Assembly committee to small crisis committees.
YMCA Model UN is schedule for Friday, December 2, 2016 to Sunday, December 4, 2016.
YMCA Model UN is hosted at Blue Ridge Assembly. Schools are expected to book their own accommodations.
YMCA MUN awards traditional individual awards and team delegation awards.
YMCA Model UN has over 16 hours of committee time, in the top 5% in the country.
