Dear readers,

My name is Sam Robinson, and I am the Editor-in-Chief of All-American Model UN’s UNMOD The Magazine. I am beyond ecstatic to welcome all of you to the start of the Model United season with us.

UNMOD is a quarterly physical publication that works to grow and connect our community. We are by Model UN people for Model UN people. This year we are dedicating ourselves to bring more content, more often, to our readers to keep them up-to-date on all of the innovations in MUN and to provide worthwhile advice to aspiring students across the globe.

As the Editor-in-Chief, I aim to implement a comprehensive vision focused on curating high-quality articles about strategy and the community that Model UN offers. Through MUN one is able to sharpen a vast array of professional skills, from public speaking and debate, to the soft skills of networking and working well with others. Our goal is to act as a window into the world that has given so much to so many, a window into Model United Nations.

We aim not just to inform, but to build. Build capable students in both the professional and MUN worlds. All American Model UN believes that all students can, and should, contribute to our MUN community, and in that spirit, we are opening applications for UNMOD Staff Writer positions for the 2023-2024 season today!

I fell in love with Model UN in the sixth grade, and I have never looked back. I have found community, growth, professional development, and a passion for international affairs. I want others to experience the joy that I have through Model UN. That is the very joy and experience that I hope UNMOD will echo.
