What I’ve learned from coaching Model United Nations and mentoring students over 16 years…
You just signed up for The Gavel Drop, congrats!
The community you’ve just joined strives to be the best at what they do– and not just at Model UN.
You’ll see the first email in your next Monday
I’ve learned the type of person who reads the All-American Model UN website are students who want to improve at what they love.
Our alumni are high school head delegates of the best teams in the country, college head delegates of top 10 teams, Secretaries-General of the largest conferences in the world, White House interns, Google employees, and Fullbright Scholars.
They’re the type of person who want to make their dent into the world.
And so, as I’ve built relationships with students over the years, they’ve asked for the same few things over and over again:
1. Community to interact and learn from each other
2. Deeper and personal insights into Model UN and education
3. Opportunities to improve, grow, and connect
That is where The Gavel Drop comes in– to provide you my direct, personal takes and opinions.
And because you’re a brand new reader of The Gavel Drop, I’m also available to you by text anytime you have a questions: 617-433-8686
Seriously, text me your questions or you can even call and leave a voice mail. No, I probably won’t answer when you call, but I’ll definitely respond.
My team and I will also be rolling out a suite of other tools: online courses, an in-depth resource center, master guides, and committee simulations.
So, enjoy reading The Gavel Drop. Stay connected. And do me a solid and share it with someone you may benefit from it.
Cheers,
Frank Pob, All-American Model UN Director
