MODEL UN IMPACT SUMMIT AND IMPACT CONFERENCE
Open Enrollment for Any Interested Student!
United Nations MUN Impact Student Summit + Impact Conference
April 11-14, 2019
New York Hilton Midtown, New York City, NY
All-American Model UN is proud to arrange a delegation of high school and university students interested in attending two separate events dealing with the real-life impact that Model United Nations can create! The UN Department of Information is hosting the inaugural MUN Impact Student Summit on Friday, April 12th at the United Nations. (This is a free event and students can register independently.) The following day on Saturday, April 13th, MUN Impact is hosting a sister event, the Impact Conference. Both events are designed to educate, inspire, and activate youth leaders to engage the UN and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and provide tools and resources.
All-American Model UN will be arranging a delegation of students to participate in both events. We have priced this program to cover our costs and, for the first time, will be opening our enrollment to any interested student. You do not need to apply or be accepted onto the All-American Model UN team to participate.
Please Note: Students who wish to participate do NOT have to enroll with the All-American delegation. Students may register independently. We have elected to organize a program to provide logistical assistance and supervision to interested students and parents.

Thursday Evening: Arrive in NYC
Please arrange your travel to arrive in Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR), LaGuardia Airpot (LGA), New York Penn Station, or Grand Central. We will not be able to accommodate arrivals in JFK Airport.
Friday: United Nations MUN Impact Student Summit
The United Nations Depart of Public Information will be hosting, in collaboration with MUN Impact, a one-day event at UN Headquarters. This open workshop format will allow students to connect with examples of Impact programs being run by high school and university students. UN experts will also be sharing ways in which MUN programs can connect to UN initiatives and programs.
Saturday: Impact Conference by MUN Impact
This first of its kind workshop will help students and teachers incorporate action and service projects that support the SDGs through their MUN involvement. Time will be given for small group action planning, facilitated by experienced MUN delegates. An opening keynote on student activism supporting the SDGs, and a second full-session on how to promote service campaigns, will round out the day.
