Model United Nations at the University of Chicago

The twenty-ninth annual conference of the Model United Nations of the University of Chicago, to be held Thursday through Sunday, February 2–5, 2017 at the Palmer House Hilton in the heart of downtown Chicago. At MUNUC XXIX, over 2,600 high-school students will assume the roles of ambassadors and diplomats and converge for a weekend of stimulating discussion, alongside our 200 University of Chicago undergraduate members.

Conference History
For decades, the world’s high school and college students have been the beneficiaries of a unique education in politics, diplomacy, and foreign affairs. The Model United Nations experience brings to life the problems that face the real world and allows participants to represent their assigned country’s position and work towards resolving issues of global importance.

Registration Prices

School Registration Fee (non-refundable): $100 or $150 after October 14, 2016

Delegate Fee (per delegate): $60 or $70 after November 21, 2016
