Great Lakes Invitational Model United Nations

The Great Lakes Invitational Conference Association is dedicated to putting on conferences to expand global understanding in the minds of today’s youth. Our conferences provide high school students with a chance to experience a unique simulation of diplomacy and compromise in action.

GLIMUN Conference Information

GLIMUN will host 9 Committees in 2017, from large General Assembly committee to Specialized committees.
GLIMUN is schedule for Wednesday, November 30, 2016 to Saturday, December 3, 2016.
GLIMUN is hosted in a hotel. Schools are expected to book at the Radisson Hotel.
GLIMUN awards traditional individual awards and team delegation awards.
GLIMUN has over 16 hours of committee time, in the top 5% in the country.

Conference History
Unlike many college-sponsored conferences, GLICA staff volunteer for many years beyond their college years, sometimes for several decades. The steady service of the staff members provides continuity to our process, and allows delegates to interact with experienced educators in committee.
