Conference Recap: WUMUNS XV (2022)

This past weekend, our United States Travel Team traveled to St. Louis, Missouri, to compete at the Washington University in St. Louis Model United Nations Symposium (WUMUNS).

WUMUNS, known for being one of the premier Model UN conferences of the midwest, continues to bridge the gap between high school and collegiate Model UN.

With students traveling from all over the country, All-American Model UN went up against several high schools from Florida, Illinois, Ohio, and more! Committees ranged in timeline and realism, with everything from the Theranos Board of Directors to the Nepalese Civil War.

In our first conference of the 2022-2023 school year, we took home a Best Small Delegation, with 80% of our students winning individual awards.

We are incredibly proud of our team and excited to see what’s to come for the rest of the year. Please help us in especially congratulating:

Aidan Mostashari (‘24), Best Delegate: Second Continental Congress 1776

Samuel Robinson (‘24), Best Delegate: Nepalese Civil War

Abigail Langer (‘23), Best Delegate: O.W.C.A. vs. The Mind Controlinator
