Model United Nations Summer Academies
We’ve taken the best Model UN training on the planet and designed unique academy programs to improve Model UN skills, research and writing, and leadership.
Designed for high school students ready to take the next step in their Model UN journeys and start winning awards at Model UN conferences!
Individual Attention & Feedback
Every student who attends an All-American Model UN Academy receives one-on-one feedback and coaching every day. All-American Model UN has the smallest student-to-staff ratio for Model UN summer programs. Students complete our Academies equipped with tools, tactics, and strategies that are guaranteed to improve performance.
Leadership Development
The overwhelming majority of our students either are in student leadership positions or assume leadership roles within a year of completing All-American Model UN Academies. Our programs stress four key components of leadership: emotional intelligence, pattern recognition, preparation, and advocacy.
Proven Track Record
All-American Model UN has been coaching student teams for ten years. Our teams have won Best Delegation in 98% of the conferences that we have participated in, with 90% of our students winning individual accolades. We have represented the US at conferences in Europe, Latin America, and Asia. Our US travel team is considered to be one of the best teams in the country. We practice what we teach.

Write a Topic Brief
One of the most powerful aspects of doing Model UN for a number a year is the ability to specialize in a particular field of interest. At the Academy, students will choose a subject of their choice– Gender Rights in South America, the Interwar Period, the Rise of Nationalism in the 21t Century– and spend the week diving into research. They’ll use their research to write a topic brief for a committee of their choice.
Academic Research
Students will be taught how to do academic research at a collegiate level.
2,000 Word Topic Brief
By the end of the week, each student will complete a 2,000-word topic brief for a committee that they’ll design.
Daily Updates
Students will brief each other and the mentors each day on the status and questions of their research.
Presentation
On the last day of the Academy, students will give a 7-10 minute presentation on their work. Families are welcome to join our virtual presentations and celebration that follows!
